Our brigade
We represent a collective of independent lawyers, affiliated firms and experts. Our platform enables both independent practice and flexible collaboration, focusing on providing strong reliable support for both our lawyers and their clients.
Each Independent Counsel part of the Brigantia Law network operates their own legal practice. This independence is deliberate. It ensures professional autonomy in legal judgment, strategic decision-making and cost structuring. Each lawyer sets their own rates. There is no intermediary between the lawyer and the client. The lawyer engaged by the client retains full responsibility for the mandate and receives the full value of the fees charged for the work performed.
This structure removes institutional overhead, internal billing pressures and layered management. It enables direct accountability, cost transparency and commercially aligned fee arrangements.
Our focus
International Scope with Jurisdictional Precision
Members of the brigade advise on cross-border transactions and general international company matters worldwide. Where required, they also provide jurisdiction-specific advice in the countries in which they are admitted and practise, including local branch operations, corporate structuring and domestic regulatory matters.
All mandates are approached from an international best standards perspective. When domestic law issues require precision, local expertise is applied directly by the lawyer qualified in that jurisdiction. This ensures technical accuracy without compromising strategic consistency across borders.
The brigade’s work spans the full contractual and corporate lifecycle, from formation to dissolution.
Contract Formation and Project Launch
The brigade assists clients from the earliest evaluation of a transaction, investment or commercial initiative through to signing and commencement of operations. Typical involvement includes:

Dispute Experience Applied since the Drafting Stage
Lawyers within the brigade regularly act in commercial and investor-State proceedings. That experience informs the way contracts are negotiated and drafted.
Particular attention is given to the issues that most frequently lead to contentious proceedings, including unclear performance obligations, imbalanced liability regimes, ineffective termination provisions, deficient escalation clauses and poorly constructed dispute resolution mechanisms.
Dispute strategy is therefore integrated into the transaction structure from the outset. Governing law provisions, jurisdiction clauses, arbitration agreements, multi-tier procedures and dispute board mechanisms are calibrated with enforcement and procedural positioning in mind.

Our brand
Our name evokes the Celtic deity symbolizing victory, wisdom and good fortune. She is consistently depicted bearing a spear. The spear represents strategy, clarity and disciplined force.
Our branding draws on that imagery. The three vertical elements in our logo are inspired by Brigantia’s spears. At the same time, they resemble three fountain pens. This dual symbolism reflects who we are. The spears signify strategic alignment. The fountain pens represent legal craftsmanship and written precision. Together, they symbolise independent lawyers joining forces for their clients.
The name also traces back to “brigade”, a term internationally used for a structured formation composed of specialised units. This is what Brigantia embodies: autonomous practitioners, strategically organised to form the right team for each mandate.
